Alejandro Schnyder founded STL Technology Systems in 1989. Over 35 years of experience, in-depth knowledge and a strong partner network form the foundation for first-class water treatment solutions.

Founder & CEO
Alejandro Schnyder graduated from high school in 1979 at the Swiss School in Mexico City. He then completed an internship in electrical engineering at ABB and Sulzer, followed by an electrical engineering education at HTL in Winterthur with additional training as a business economist.
His professional career started in national and international sales in electrical engineering and the telecommunications industry at renowned companies such as ITT, Alcatel STR and Schmid Telecom AG from 1986 to 1995.
He then took the step into self-employment in the field of water treatment with the development of UV-C disinfection systems up to complete water treatment plants.
Since 2011, he has been co-owner and managing director of Aqua Innovation GmbH based in Rotkreuz Zug. After the handover, Alejandro Schnyder founded STL Technology Systems GmbH in Zug.
His strength is combining deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial execution and personally guiding projects from assessment to sustainable implementation.
History
Since 1989
STL Technology Systems GmbH is the successor company to the sole proprietorship of the same name, which was founded by Alejandro Schnyder in 1989. This marked the beginning of independence and led to the first developments in water treatment.
